Hello , its been too long since I have posted or even gotten to scrapbook. Today I used my August Studio Calico kits to create a simple fun page, however I couldn't figure out how to make my page lay flat after misting it with Mister Huey's' shine , white and water cooler. I guess it will lay flat one I put it in an album, but if you know how to do it please let me know. I am so glad the trend right now in scrap booking is banners, I love banners and want to put them everywhere and in all directions. I can guess that my next few scrapbooks will be full of pages with banners of all kinds.
This upcoming school year will be hard for me and as it is almost here I am trying not to be too sad. I am a homeschooling mom that has to send her boys to school for now. It is my husbands wish and I will not fight it, though I pray he will be led to allow me to home school again in the future, he let me for years and now says the boys can go to the local high school since we hope to be settled here in the neighborhood and we don't see anymore Navy moves in the future. I will get to home school the baby boys and I have already started by working on the Before Five in a Row curriculum but there is only so many things I can do with them in the hours the big boys will be in school and I am planning on making scrap booking a priority with some of my free time.
I started Project Life, July 29th. Project Life is a scrap booking plan that Becky Higgins has developed and uses very simple page protectors and inserts to make it easy to track your days and weeks so you catch all the little things in one book for 52 weeks at a time. I am really enjoying it , but I haven't had so many pictures taken of me in years lol If you haven't yet begun this program I highly recommend it and no I am not getting paid to say so, it really is awesome and I am happy with it.
Another new thing I am doing is hiring a life coach. I never thought Id be one of those people to put my life before another person and asked them to help me figure it out. but I am . I kept hearing things about a lady life coach in my neighborhood that was helping the ladies make drastic changes in the ways they are running the household and even helping them learn better ways to pursue creative time and I knew after hearing about her a few times that I wanted to give it a try. I think it will be a fun thing to blog about too, as I am finding new ways to reprogram myself and behaviors I can tell you all about it. I want to be more free to create wonderful things and not feel so guilty because I need to be cleaning or doing something to benefit the household. Do you often find that you cant scrapbook or do a project because you want everything to be perfect before you can get started and its never perfect so you don't ever get to create? well I sure do..anyway here's today's page.I used a picture I just adore of Charlie. I hope you enjoy it or maybe even want to scrap lift it lol.
